I’ve worked with a variety of coaches and each had a different take on client attraction.
.
Many had me complete an ideal client questionnaire (page after page, ugh), others had me think about who would be a dream to work with, and others had me create a client avatar.
.
And, honestly, none of them were very effective.
.
It was discouraging. It was a lot of work and I was excited to see how it would shift my marketing and sales.
.
Problem is, it didn’t really. 🤨

Why not?
.
All of these clients are outside of you. The ideal client and client avatar are amalgamations of people so how do you speak to someone who doesn’t even exist? With the dream client, at least that one is a real, live, breathing person.
.
The problem, even with the dream client, is you don’t KNOW them. They may have had similar experiences but you don’t truly know their thoughts, fears, and deeper desires.
.
You write thinking they will connect with the similarities you have with them. They might.
They might not. It’s a bit like blackjack – sometimes you have the right cards and sometimes you don’t. 😳

It’s so much better to always have the right cards.

How do you do that?

Instead of “thinking” you know what this person you would love to work with wants and fears, why not KNOW what they want and fear?

How?
.
Speak to your soul mate client.
.
Who is that?
.
Your soul mate client is you a few years ago – an earlier version of you.
.
You KNOW exactly what she is struggling with and what she is thinking and feeling about it.
.
You KNOW exactly what she wants and what she thinks she needs to do to get it.
.
You KNOW her inside and out, INTIMATELY.
.
AND, you KNOW the impact of having learned what you did in order to be where you are now and the VALUE of her having access to you and your process so that she can progress much more quickly and less painfully than you did.
.
This serves as a HUGE drive to serve, to share your message, and to sell because you know what you went through and don’t want anyone else to have to go through that. 😊
.
When you connect deeply to your soul mate client, your message comes through powerfully and clearly. You KNOW what to say and how to say it so that she KNOWS you are the coach for her.
.
And, you can’t NOT share because you KNOW how important this is and that it is bigger than you, so in those moments when you slip into doubt, you connect with your soul mate client and shift your focus and get back to serving.

No more brainstorming and overanalyzing what to say, how, and to whom.
