The issue is not what you are doing, it is who you are being.

You can implement like a champion, but if you have disconnected from yourself and are running on an old story of who you are or can be, no matter how brilliant the strategy, it won’t perform as well as it is able. This leaves you frustrated and discouraged, which then makes you search out another strategy.

The tricky thing is we often stay on the surface when it comes to healing. Many coaches either don’t know how to guide you to go deeper or haven’t gone deep enough themselves to know.

This is not to go deep and realize how screwed up you are and how messed up your childhood was.

This is peeling back the deeper layers to uncover the core story so you can rewrite it. This requires deep forgiveness to write a new story, to see the gift in the struggle so you can profit from the pain. 💎

The truth is it always comes down to relationships.

The foundation of a relationship is love and trust.
.
Over time, you have lost this – for yourself.
.
It makes sense, right? You get support, it doesn’t work as well as you had hoped. You get discouraged and down on yourself. Distrust creeps in. Next, the self-criticism. You become your own antagonist in the story.
.
If you want to change this story of struggle, you can’t bypass the heart and intellectualize yourself out of it.
