I set myself free. I haven’t belonged to a gym since 2012 whereas before I was a total gym rat. I don’t restrict what I eat whereas before I analyzed what I ate, mentally calculated calories, and beat myself up constantly. I eat with pleasure whereas before I felt anxiety and pressure to choose the “right” healthy option and made some foods “bad”. I move my body with joy instead of out of some sadomasochistic obligation.
