Nobody likes me. Everybody hates me. I’m gonna eats some worms. Big, fat, juicy ones. Long, skinny, slimy ones.

I remember singing this song in choir in elementary school. I thought it was cute and funny.

I have actually said this in entrepreneurial circles. I was talking to the man who runs the mastermind group I am a part of and he asked, what are you afraid of?

I said, “That nobody likes me, everybody hates me. I’m gonna eat some worms.”

He laughed.

It always comes back to the desire for belonging.

He said, “Entrepreneurship is the art, science, and magic of learning to trust yourself. You have to let go of seeking approval or wanting to be liked. It comes down to you and your relationship with yourself. That’s the secret.”

Simple, right? But not easy.

Why? Because learning to trust yourself often means going against what others think. It means forging your own path instead of following someone else’s. It means you might be criticized, rejected, or kicked out of the tribe since you are no longer following anyone else’s rules.

You have to be willing to trust yourself, follow and act on your intuition and what you know to be true for you, no matter what.

You have to want to live in your truth as the greatest and fullest expression of you more than you want security and approval.

You have to come to the deep knowing that your security comes from within. It does not depend on anyone or anything outside of you. With that, you have to be 100% committed to you and your path, no matter what.

You have to be 100% devoted to your truth, no matter what.

You have to be willing to do whatever it takes to live in alignment with your truth and desires, no matter what. This means acknowledging your fears and taking action in spite of them.

This is when you become unstoppable.

Nothing will ever get in the way of you living your truth, the life of your dreams, and as the highest version of you ever, ever again.

Let the games begin.

I guide my clients back to their truth, to activate their inner genius, and to live out their soul’s mission. If this is speaking to you, let’s talk.

To living your truth,

Kori
