About a year into my business, sales stopped.
.
Naturally, I sought to correct the problem. That’s only logical, right?
.
I thought it was my mindset or some energetic block…as that is what many coaches were claiming.
.
I hired someone to help me with that.
.
And, it did nothing to increase my sales.😳
.
I thought well maybe it’s my marketing, prospecting, and sales skills… that makes sense, right?
.
I hired someone whose marketing, prospecting, and sales strategy was to do shadow work.
.
That sent me spiralling down into everything that was wrong with me and convinced me I was most certainly broken…
.
Which did nothing for my sales. 🤨

Here I was seeking answers, searching for solutions, implementing new strategies, doing deep inner work – everything I can to correct this sales issue…

…and it only got worse…and as it got worse, I felt worse… about myself. 😳

How can you not, right?

You’re investing. You’re doing the work your coach suggests and you’re committed to change, to getting results, and then when nothing really changes… it’s normal to think, well, it must just be you. 🙁

That is exactly what happened to me. I honestly thought maybe I was cursed or something. That didn’t help either.

All along, as I was working with different coaches, I noticed a pattern – all of them wanted me to fit into their formula – not one of them sought to guide me to create my own formula.
.
That’s when I realized why none of these strategies had worked for me – they weren’t ME.
.
How can I sell a strategy, sell coaching, if it isn’t MY unique process from my own experience, training, and most importantly, my unique gifts?

Turns out, as you can see, I couldn’t. 🤨
.
I knew more clearly what I had known all along deep inside of me – I have to do this my way or it will never work for me.
.
I knew I wanted to coach – that this was my purpose – and I wanted it to work long term and for it to continue to evolve as I did, and for my business to support how I best worked and how I desired to live – instead of forcing myself into hustle, grind, constantly searching and seeking and working nonstop mode.

That led me to hire a different kind of mentor who guided me to uncover my unique genius and develop my unique client delivery process of Removing the Scripted Mask which allowed me to make sales from one post or video – instead of some complicated strategy.
.
What I saw was that all the complicated strategies I had been taught from funnels to challenges to webinars only served to disconnect me from myself and my unique gifts – hence why they were ineffective.
.
As I understood my unique gifts and their role in my unique transformational process, how I saw myself changed which also changed how I was SEEN, which opened the door to even higher sales.
.
That led to a $10k sale from a casual email. 😊
.
