When I was new in my business, I was overwhelmed by all the mindset work that I heard so many coaches claiming was the holy grail to running a successful coaching business.

I thought, alright, I’ll do it. You know, whatever it takes.

Well it’s a bit like looking at the pores on your face through a high magnification mirror. You didn’t notice how clogged they were, but now that you see them up close, wow, they’re hideous.

That’s how I started to feel about myself. 😳

Like most normal human beings, I’ve had my share of wrestling with self-esteem but for the most part, I was successful – earning advanced degrees, supporting myself well financially, maintaining close friendships, and some healthy long term romantic relationships.

Meaning I wasn’t a total fuck up.

Well, enter mindset work and all of a sudden I had all these blocks I never even knew existed and now I had to dig them out and analyze them, and somehow this would make me free. 🤨

It did anything but.

It sent me down the rabbit hole of negativity. Maybe I was a fuck up after all, I began to think.

With that, I went from pretty regular sales to NADA.

That certainly did wonders for my mindset. Yea right.

This was NOT working. ☹️
